While I ran One Part Scissors, I developed a television advert to support the launch of the OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER® PLUS automotive lamp in South Africa.
The advert made use of video material supplied OSRAM Germany, but we didn’t feel comfortable using the European advert as-is, they just would not have worked in our local context. We didn’t have budget to create new video content however, so we paired the supplied visuals with a script and storyboard I devised, and using a local voice-over artist and a custom-made music track by a local musician.
The campaign had a very short run on DStv, during Top Gear and Boots & All during June 2013. I also designed a number of point-of-sale promotion items such as banners and posters to support the product launch.
